Func Junc

Func Junc is a culmination of thousands of hours of grind, sweat, tears triumphs and failures. Originally founded in 1992 by founding members Artimus “Dr. Stank” Irvin and Andre “Funcsta Func” Jackson, Func Junc has stood the test of time by keeping the recipe simple with good music, good people, and good vibes. In 1993, Stank and Funcsta linked up with fellow Riverside native and drummer, Dion “Dub Chemist” Denti to form the Hip Hop/Rock fusion band “Doomsday” who would add another layer of musical depth to the ever-growing passion and love for music that the collective possessed. This would then lead to independent releases, and then eventually Func Junc signing to Bad Boy Records in 1998. After a brief stint on Bad Boy records, Stank went on to sign to MCA Records in 2002 but after the imprint was sold, Stank became one of many newly signed artist that were released from the major. Fast Forward to 2023, Stank, Funcsta and Dub Chemist have relaunched on their own terms but this time as a label and group under the imprint, “Stench Noise Records.” Everything is In-house from the production to final product and meticulously curated to stand the test of time. Speaking of time, the time is now and Func Junc is here to leave a stench!!
